Description

Section 9 of the Continental Divide Trail runs 7.7 miles from the Beartown Trailhead to the Stony Pass Trailhead. 1.4 miles after leaving the Beartown Trailhead the CDT joins up with the Colorado Trail and runs concurrent with it. Along the way, the trail passes Bear Creek, Beartown Bald, and Stony Pass Peak.
